People say the couple’s breakup rumors were a ploy to gain attention, to increase viewership and fan base so their show could make them money.

A few days ago, rumors made the rounds on social media that a close friend of the couple confirmed that they were officially divorced and that only paperwork remained.

Malik spoke on Friday SAMAA TV regarding the rumors and advised his fans to “ignore” them.
