Niti Taylor says Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10 experience has made her cynical: ‘Aur reality shows nahi karna’

Fan favorite Niti Taylor is ready to return as Nandini in Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan 4. The musical love story will reunite her with Parth Samthaan and audiences are excited to see what the two have in store for them this time. In an interview with indianexpress.com, Niti spoke about the show and her disappointing exit from Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10. The dance reality show was her first step into reality shows; She was eliminated during semifinal week. Given that she’s done well in terms of performances and also had the support of fans, her eviction became a topic of discussion on social media, which many called “unfair.” The actor had also complained about not being the channel’s favourite, replying to a fan on social media.
When asked if the experience made her cynical about reality shows, Niti Taylor said, “Yes, my first reality show. It made me cynical. Aur nahi karna (I don’t want to do another one now).”
When Parth cut her off and wondered if she would go on record not doing another reality show, Niti said, “I mean, for a while. Also, I have to add that it was a good experience and I learned a lot. I loved my trip.”
However, when we asked Parth if he plans to move into non-fiction anytime soon, Niti warned him, “No, Parth, don’t,” before the pair burst out laughing.
Given that the show has now moved from TV to Voot, the actor said it’s the best option since most of the young audience has switched to OTT. She said: “As a viewer, I’ve also quit watching TV and switched to digital. There is a lot more content and genres to choose from. Also, you can watch it at your own time and convenience.”
Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan 4 launches on December 2nd.
