BTS’s Jungkook Finally Shares The Full Story Of His Fight With Jimin During Their Trainee Days
Sometimes that is bts Members share their inside stories in bite-sized chunks that pique the curiosity of ARMYs. One such unsolved mystery was Jungkook And jiminThe struggle during the trainee days ended with a cinematic reconciliation in the rain.
On June 13, 2020, to celebrate their seventh anniversary as a group, BTS released a video recreating their first “birthday party” as a group and sharing stories from their debut days. Jungkook brought up an old argument with Jimin, which made them both laugh. Although they didn’t mention the details, Jungkook revealed that he got into an argument with Jimin, which resulted in both of them leaving the practice room in anger.
However, after some time, Jimin kept receiving calls from Jungkook, and when he finally answered, Jungkook answered maknae he apologized. Jimin, still angry, asked Jungkook to pick him up, but he had absentmindedly run away after the fight and couldn’t tell Jimin exactly where he was.
Jungkook took a taxi to return to their dormitories, where Jimin was waiting for him in the rain. The two hugged.
That ended the K-Drama-esque story FESTA Video. However, the question of what led to such a violent fight between the two members has always bothered fans. So an ARMY took their chance and asked Jungkook about it during his last live stream on June 5th, KST. After noticing the question, Jungkook shared a more detailed version of the incident.

Explaining the context, Jungkook said that during his apprenticeship he spoke somewhat harshly, which even earned him the grade “Angel” J-Hope be angry with him. Apparently the older members had warned Jungkook about his temper a couple of times. Though he couldn’t remember exactly why now, Jungkook suspected Jimin had once pulled him aside to talk to him about something similar.
Despite knowing it was his fault, Jungkook couldn’t let go of his pride as he felt what he said wasn’t entirely wrong either. So Jimin got angry and left saying that he wasn’t interested in Jungkook anymore.

Jungkook was supposed to go home from there, but instead he wandered around thoughtlessly and ended up in an unfamiliar area. Feeling unfair to the situation, he wavered when he called Jimin to apologize. When he finally decided to call, Jimin picked up and asked, “What are you doing right now? … Where are you?” Jungkook burst into tears at the call, telling him he didn’t know his exact location. But he took a cab back to their dorms and it started raining. Jimin was waiting for him outside and when Jungkook arrived the two went to the roof and discussed things. Finally, the two hugged and went inside.

Jungkook also mentioned that the next day his eyes were completely swollen from crying so much.

After hearing the full version of the story, the army personnel are surprised that the whole incident was even more dramatic than they originally imagined. At the same time, they could feel how emotionally charged the early days of BTS were and how much effort they had to put in to be where they are today, both professionally and as friends.
