Actor Kazan Khan, best known as an antagonist in Malayalam, Tamil and Kannada films, has reportedly died of complications from a heart attack. Film producer and production manager NM Badusha shared the news of the actor’s death in a Facebook post on Monday evening. NM Badusha wrote on Facebook, “Famous villain actor Kazan Khan died of a heart attack.” He added in his post, “He has acted in many films including CID Musa, Varna Pakittu… condolences.” More details on the actor’s last rites are awaited.

Over the course of his decades-long career, Kazan Khan has starred in films in a variety of languages ​​including Malayalam, Tamil and Kannada. He acted in over 50 films. The actor became a household name in Malayalam cinema after playing the role of Vikram Ghorpade in Shaji Kailas’ 1995 film The king, starring superstar Mammootty. The film marked Kazan Khan’s Malayalam acting debut. Kazan Khan made his acting debut as Boopathie in Senthamizh Paattu in 1992. His other works included such films as Kalaignan, Sethupathi IPS, Duet, Murai Maman, Aanazhagan and Karuppu Nilaamong other.
