Spider-Man 2 PS5 Gameplay Shows Kraven Villain, Symbiote Suit
Developer Insomniac Games appeared on PlayStation Showcase on May 24th with a new trailer for the PS5 Web Sling Exclusive. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.
Before showing spider-men slinging webs, the new trailer begins with a scene where villain Kraven the Hunter decides to travel to New York City to hunt down our hero couple.
The new footage features Peter Parker and Miles Morales gameplay, with the player switching between both characters to handle a situation on two different sides of NYC. Peter wears the symbiote suit and uses new abilities thanks to the space parasite growing on him. Meanwhile, Miles has some cool new tech, like making wires to walk across a platform and stay hidden. While the swinging webs and fists still look pretty good, the trailer escalates into one Unexplored-esque set piece in which Miles is dragged through New York by a drone.
Anyone who has seen the Symbiote Spidey’s storylines in the comics and films will recognize Peter’s fearful demeanor as a sign of the Symbiote’s influence over him. So it will be interesting to see how this storyline fares in the sequel when it comes to PS5 this fall.
A matter only for single players, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 begins not long after the events of the first two games: Marvel’s Spider-Man And The Miles Morales spin off. This time the twin spiders fight the iconic super villain Venom Bill Rosemann, Marvel Entertainment’s creative vice president, said: “darker”Narrative than what was told in the previous parts. That makes sense when you think about it the parasitic symbiotein all his devilishly possessive glory, is set to appear in the sequel to take control of an unlucky fellow.

Insomniac Games’ open-world webhead adventure isn’t the only one Spiderman Media canceled this year.
