Russell Crowe and Tommy Flanagan examine the past in the first Sleeping Dogs picture

A first look was revealed sleeping dogs, the highly anticipated crime film Russell Crowe. Production on the film recently wrapped in Australia and the first look features Crowe and his co-stars Tommy Flanagan than two graying homicide detectives.

Crowe and Flanagan, who appear to be working at a crime scene, will star in it sleeping dogs next to Karen Gillan, Marton Csokas, Harry Greenwood And Thomas M Wright. The film follows Crowe’s Roy Freeman as he revisits a brutal murder case after receiving state-of-the-art Alzheimer’s treatment. The film is an adaptation of the book of mirrors, a 2017 crime novel by EO Chirovici.

The pair have collaborated on a number of high-profile scripts in the past, including ” Assassin’s Creed filming and Exodus: Gods and Kings. The film is produced by Mark Fasano by Nickel City Pictures alongside Cooper, collage, Deborah Glover, And Pouya Shabazian from New Leaf Literary.

While not all of the film’s plot details have been fleshed out, this is clear sleeping dogs has an impressive ensemble cast. Oscar winner Crowe, who played the lead role sleeping dogs in August 2022, was recently featured in the horror film The Pope’s Exorcist. While the project received mixed reviews, a sequel is already in development, which Crowe is expected to reprise in his lead role. He will also appear in Sony’s upcoming film Kraven the Hunter Movie playing Kraven’s father in the R-rated superhero project.

Gillan, known for her roles in Doctor Who universe and the jumanji is perhaps best known for portraying Nebula in Marvel’s films Protector of the Galaxy franchise, the latest of which Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3, was recently released in theaters to positive reviews. She has also appeared in other MCU films as Nebula, including: avenger franchises and Thor: Love and Thunder.

Flanagan has had roles in a variety of acclaimed films including Brave heart And Gladiator, He starred in the latter alongside Crowe. He also had a role in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 next to Gillan. However, he is best known for his portrayal of Chibs Telford as the main character in the FX crime series sons of anarchy, also appears in the spin-off series of the series, Mayan’s MC

After undergoing state-of-the-art Alzheimer’s treatment, former homicide detective Roy Freeman (Crowe) is hired to re-investigate a brutal murder case from his past – the gruesome murder of a college professor (Csokas). This time, however, things take a very different turn when they meet a fascinating and mysterious woman (Gillan): as he uncovers a tangled web of contradictions and mysteries, Roy must confront a terrifying reality that will change his world forever in the blink of an eye.
