10 Best New Movies and Shows Coming to Netflix in February
During Netflix campaigns nothing new in the West for best picture – a film to watch if you want to brag to your friends that you’ve seen all of the nominees – the streamer rolled out a few new, more comforting shows and movies this month. Well, except You. Everyone watching You as a feel good show…we have some questions.
Apart from that, the streamer is ringing in the month of love with a brand new romantic comedy and some new reality dating sagas for you to watch in time for Valentine’s Day. Cash your place or mine with Reese Witherspoon and Ashton Kutcher – what a great casting! We also get a bye for love is blind Season 3 and better yet, a mashup of all Netflix reality series in one big dating show, Perfect match.
Netflix also has a few comedies in store, including a spin-off of on my block and a new horror comedy starring stranger things“David Haven. There’s also a docuseries about a millionaire dog coming out in February, and while it’s not officially labeled a “comedy,” we’re ensuring plenty of hilarious discourse surrounding the show.

GUNTHER’S MILLIONS
Released February 1st
Netflix kicks off February with a BANG. Gunther’s millions follows a millionaire dog. Did you even know that this is possible? Gunther VI, a German shepherd with a $400 million inheritance, also has a strange cult following with a spate of people wanting to clone him and create miniature Gunthers. Man’s best friend has a new meaning and it’s starting to get really weird. Netflix has been killing it with previous documentaries like To cheer and Pepsi, where’s my jet?so we expect this to be a wild rollercoaster ride.
FREERIDGE
Released February 2nd
on my block It’s been a while, but Netflix is capitalizing on the show’s success with a brand new spin-off coming out this February. Although it sounds like it could be a Chris Hemsworth action movie, Freeridge is actually another comedy with four new stars (including Abbott Elementary School‘s Keyla Monterroso Mejia) in on my block‘s hometown is, you guessed it, Freeridge.
BILL RUSSELL: LEGEND
Released February 8th
Oscar-nominated documentary maker Sam Pollard goes up against Bill Russell in his new film, which aims to follow the NBA star with intimate interviews, archive footage and other details from his life. Russell, who passed away in July 2022, was a gold-medal NBA superstar, but he was also a staunch advocate of civil rights, and the doctor will permeate both aspects in his multifaceted life.
DU Season 4 Part 1
Released February 9th
Penn Badgely sat out his creepy Joe Goldberg voice You Narrating videos of strangers in bookstores to promote last season and I haven’t stopped thinking about how creepy that is since. Thankfully, the stalker finally gets a taste of his own medicine in this new season of the hit Netflix thriller. Yes, Joe Goldberg is tracked. We will hopefully miss Love Quinn (Victoria Pedretti). You has something new and sharp in store to replace them.
YOUR PLACE OR MINE
Released February 10th
The most awaited – or rather, my The most anticipated Netflix movie coming out in February is a Reese Witherspoon/Ashton Kutcher rom-com. your place or mine plays the beloved actors in a bicostal, The holidays-style romp in which the couple swap houses in New York and Los Angeles to try and find love in both cities. The real twist, of course, is that these two “best friends” actually love each other, like a remote version of When Harry met Sally.
LOVE IS BLIND: AFTER THE ALTAR Season 3
Released February 10th
Much controversy surrounds love is blind Season 3, and after waiting three long months for an update, we finally get this season’s install After the altar. Bartise, who was very controversial last season, has already signed on for another Netflix dating production. (It’s called Perfect matchsee below.) Needless to say, the cast will have a lot To talk about it.
PERFECT MATCH

The best and brightest Netflix reality stars all come together Perfect matchalso known as the wise man avenger. Stars have jumped from show to show – Chloe Veitch, for example, was a favorite of Too hot to touch which became even more popular The circle— but they’ve never appeared on a major dating show together. MURDAUGH MURDERS: A SOUTHERN SCANDAL

While the trial of Alex Murdaugh – who is currently accused of murdering his family in cold blood – is underway, Netflix is releasing an entire true-crime series about the tragedy. Murdaugh Murders: A Southern Scandal follows the powerful South Carolina family and potential money launderers to distribute drugs across the country. While watching the series on Netflix, be sure to keep track of the ongoing trial as new updates arrive.
OUTER BANKS Season 3
Released February 23
Chase Stokes could star Outer Banksbut all eyes are on Madelyn Cline as we head into season 3 after her wonderful breakthrough Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery. Also, the real couple broke up during the filming of season three, so there may be some juicy drama coming out of the woodwork when the new episodes are revealed. Will it be as exciting as the drama on the show itself? Perhaps. Probably not.
