Wood Magistrate

PARKERSBURG — The following cases were heard in Wood County Magistrates Court on May 15:
* James Michael Cottrell, of 1308 St. Marys Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to maintaining a controlled substance storage vehicle and was sentenced to a $170.25 fine and two years in prison, serving one year suspended unsupervised on probation. The charge of manufacture/supply/possession with intent to manufacture/supply a Category I or II narcotic was dismissed.
* Thomas Eugene Stevens III, 400 16th St., Apt. 9, Parkersburg, was waived a preliminary hearing on a charge of manufacture/supply/possession with intent to manufacture/supply a Category I or II narcotic. The case was referred to Wood County Circuit Court.
* Kenneth A. Ankrom Jr., of Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to domestic violence, was fined $195.25 and sentenced to a year in prison suspended for six months without supervision. Charges of violating a protective order and possessing a controlled substance without a prescription were dismissed under a settlement agreement.
* Dustin Dewayne Metz, 2522 10th Ave., Parkersburg, was waived a preliminary hearing on a third-felony shoplifting charge.
* The charge against Mark Edward Dye, of 4 Dye Lane, Mineral Wells, for lack of registration and proof of insurance was dismissed without appeal from the state.
* Kenton Ryan Barker, 615 17th St., Parkersburg, has been stayed a preliminary hearing on possession of a controlled substance with intent to ship it and on two counts of being a person prohibited from possession of firearms. The case was referred to Wood County Circuit Court.
* The truancy charges against Crystal Marie Tripi, 709 44th St., Vienna were dismissed pursuant to a settlement agreement.
* Herbert Allen Stewart Jr., 2409 Neal St., Parkersburg, was waived a preliminary hearing on three counts of forgery and speech. The case was referred to the district court.
* Tonya Gail White, 910 Core Road, Apt. 106, Parkersburg, a preliminary hearing was waived on two counts of intentional ball possession. The case was referred to the district court.
* Jennie Lou Piersol, 3206 Custer St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to driving with a suspended driver’s license for drunk driving and driving a vehicle with an impairment of less than .15 and was fined 625 $.50 charged. She was sentenced to 30 and 40 days in prison respectively for running for office at the same time. A charge of disobeying traffic signs was dismissed.
* Austin Cole Rizer, 11337 Southern Highway, Elizabeth, pleaded guilty to driving a vehicle with a disability of less than .15, was fined $355.25 and sentenced to six hours in prison, which counted as an atonement.
* Ronald Bruce Sheridan, 1600 Camden Ave., Apt. 1, of Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to first count of shoplifting and possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription and was fined $415.50. He was ordered to pay Sheetz a $50 civil penalty.
* The charges against Lonnie Eugene Potts, 93 Alfred Road, Davisville, of violating a domestic violence protection order were dismissed with prejudice at the victim’s motion.
* Shayne Douglas Fletcher, 1607 Beaver St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to trespassing and obstruction and was fined $405.50.
* Cody Allan Lancaster, 3405 25th St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to one felony count and failed, was fined $180.25 and sentenced to 45 days house arrest. The charge of being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm was dismissed under a plea agreement.
* Charles Francis Hardin, 1203 16th St., Vienna, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription, was fined $170.25 and served 90 days in prison with six months of unsupervised probation, sentenced with a credit of one day for time served. A charge of possessing a controlled substance without a valid prescription was dismissed under a settlement agreement.
* Wayne Leroy Knepper Jr., of 569 Fifth St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to one count of disability and assault, was fined $400.50 and sentenced to 30 days in prison, with six months suspended sentence without supervision and a five-day sentence.
* Michael Anthony Pedro, c/o 736 Willard Road, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to expired registration and was fined $180.25. The charges of violating a protection order and failing to have insurance were dismissed under an appeal agreement.
* Trenton Michael Cremeans, Belpre, allowed the domestic violence charges to be dismissed without prejudice as the alleged victim did not wish to pursue the case any further.
* Lacie Breanne Arden Sharpe, 9784 Slate Creek Road, Rockport, pleaded guilty to property destruction, was fined $170.25 and sentenced to five days in prison and six months of unsupervised probation. A trespassing charge was dismissed under a plea agreement.
* Charges of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription were dismissed against Jamil Adrian Cabral of Parkersburg.
* Amber C. Booker, 1137 Stadium Drive, Apt. 1, of Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to not having a driver’s license and driving an unlicensed vehicle and was fined $350.50.
* Jocey Aleah Cato, 4154 Williamstown Pike, Williamstown, pleaded guilty to non-compliance and was fined $175.25.
* John Anthony Iammarino, 1908 Seventh St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to not wearing a seat belt and was fined $25.
* Joseph Alex Banta, of 502 Victoria Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to not wearing a seat belt and was fined $25.
* Daniel Armando Banales, of Parkersburg, was charged with making terrorist threats and is being held on $50,000 bail.
* Karen Marie Reynolds, of 1412 Beaver St., Parkersburg, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and released on $500 bail.
* Andy William Mesecher, of 528 Maple Drive, Elizabeth, was charged with speeding in a school zone (34 miles per hour in a 15 mph) zone and was released on $500 bail.
* Trevor Paul Hutchinson, 40 Wildwood Drive, Apt. 106, Parkersburg, was charged with expired registration, accident causing property damage, and improper entry onto freeway or intersection and was released on $1,500 bail.
* Seth Eugene Harris, of 3000 Barnett Ridge Road, Fleming, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and released on $1,000 bail.
* Cortney Renee Thomas, of 1006 West Virginia Ave., Parkersburg, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and released on $1,000 bail.
* Ricky Lee Salyers, 1329 1/2 25th St., Parkersburg, was charged with trespassing and a Capias shoplifting warrant and was released on $2,000 bail.
* Hannah Nicole Brannon, of Parkersburg, was charged with trespassing and released on $500 bail.
* Alicia Dawn Brannon, of Parkersburg, was charged with trespassing and released on $500 bail.
* Austin Clay Kent, of Parkersburg, was charged with trespassing and was released on $500 bail.
